VIKAFOAM vibration-damping plates are a product with many possible applications, among others within:
The construction industry
- For floating wooden floors in e.g. sports halls, bowling alleys and studios
- For vibration isolation of entire building sections from each other
- For insulating step sound in stairwells (where the entire stairwell is placed on VIKAFOAM)
- For decoupling larger building elements from the rest of the building
The industry
- Vibration isolation of machines in the form of point supports
- For floating floors in concrete or inertia blocks, because it is possible to cast the concrete directly on top of the PUR material

For almost every application, there are 13 basic types of VIKAFOAM available, ranging from VF 10 to VF 1900. The desired requirements can be achieved easily through an appropriate selection of Vikafoam types, support surface area and construction height
